Directors
Dr. Lynn Trapp serves as director of Worship and Music at St. Olaf Church in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is known for his work as concert organist, conductor, composer, and liturgist. He enjoys a distinguished career as recitalist, recording artist and clinician in the United States and Europe, and composes organ and choral music for five major publishing companies. He leads choir pilgrimages and director's tours abroad for Peter's Way International, New York. Dr. Trapp is the founder of Sacred Music on the Prairie, a national music festival for church musicians in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He holds degrees from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Kansas.
Wendy Barton Silhavy serves as Director of Music and Liturgy at the Church of St. Peter in Mendota, Minnesota. Wendy is active as a workshop presenter, organist, flutist, and cantor. Wendy serves on the Worship Board for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Mrs. Barton Silhavy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Church Music from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa; and a Master's Degree in Liturgical Music from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
Administrative Support
Mary Goforth has travelled with the choir on all the pilgrimages, and brings musical knowledge and a vast array of administrative skills to the organization of the Chorale. She anchors the Kansas City portion of our membership.
